    Trip to Gouda

    Let’s enjoy a unique day in Gouda. Gouda is known as the Cheese city of The Netherlands, but is also well known for it’s delicious ‘stroopwafels!’ These are waffles with syrup in between and are the go-to cookie with a cup of coffee/tea!

    In the morning we will arrive at your door with the coach of your choice. Our hospitable driver will bring you to Gouda Centre. There we´ll start the day with a cup of coffee/tea and a syrup waffle. After enjoying this Dutch Delicacy, it’s time to learn more about it in a workshop. We’ll learn how they’re made according to a hundred-year-old recipe. Afterwards we’ll have lunch. In the afternoon we are going to De Sint-Janskerk, here we’ll have a guided tour to get an impression of the art treasures in this building. Shortly, a wonderful day of pure Dutch culture!

    Keukenhof, our floral capital!

    The most beautiful spring parc of the world! The parc is 32 hectares big, has 7 million flower bulbs and provides a 15-kilometer hiking trail with 280 benches, 15 fountains, 32 bridges, 5 restaurants, 6 souvenir shops and 3 points of sale for flower bulbs.

    All of this under supervision of only 31 gardeners! Shortly; Let’s go to De Keukenhof and fall in love with spring!Besides this huge flower field full of art, it’s also a parc full of activities. There are multiple beautiful flower shows, designed by Dutch growers. The parc is an absolute pleasure for all senses and is a must see when staying in The Netherlands. For many years it’s possible to explore the parc by bicycle, but now it’s also possible to go around the fields by electrical driven boats, so called ‘whisper boats.’ These tours take around 50 to 70 minutes and are specially designed to sail through the narrow and shallow ditches. With these boat tours you can take the most beautiful pictures!
